Diffusion Bonding
D2 Vacuum Diffusion Welding Furnace
D2 technical proposal data imported from the Word document for product review and inquiry routing.
Diffusion welding refers to a solid-state welding method in which workpieces are pressed under high temperature without visible deformation or relative movement. This process is particularly suitable for joining dissimilar metal materials, heat-resistant alloys, ceramics, intermetallic compounds, composite materials, and other new materials. Especially for materials that are difficult to weld using fusion welding methods, diffusion welding has obvious advantages.
Key Features
Technical Highlights
Highly integrated design: Adopting a horizontal, side-opening, integrated machine structure, it optimizes material loading and unloading accuracy, facilitates operation, and allows for flexible equipment movement, significantly improving efficiency and space utilization.
High efficiency heating and cooling performance: Rapid heating: It takes only 90 minutes to heat from 10C to 2000C (with an average heating rate of 22.22C/min), which shortens the process time by 50% to 70% compared to traditional equipment and significantly reduces energy consumption;
Rapid cooling: It takes only 387 minutes to cool down from 2000C to 50C (with an average cooling rate of 5.04C/min), significantly improving equipment turnover rate (actual measurement data report available).
Optimized thermal field design: The heating chamber undergoes thermal simulation calculations to ensure temperature uniformity. It adopts a modular heating element combined with an efficient insulation layer design to reduce heat loss and enhance the energy efficiency ratio.
Excellent temperature uniformity: After maintaining a constant temperature of 1000C for 1 hour, temperature measurement at 5 points shows a uniformity of +/-5C, ensuring stable sintering quality of the material.
Electric cylinder pressure (Standard version 5T/50kN, Plus version 10T/100kN): With 5T/10T high-pressure capability, the system dramatically enhances diffusion bonding, delivering stronger interfaces, superior densification, and high-efficiency atomic-scale metallurgical bonding.
High-precision pressure control: Using a servo electric cylinder system, the pressure accuracy is <=+/-1 per milleFS (full scale), ensuring stable pressure during the sintering process and avoiding material defects.
Multiple security protections: HMI+PLC+PID pressure sensing control enables real-time monitoring and adjustment of process parameters; multi-level safety interlocking prevents abnormal conditions such as overpressure and overtemperature, ensuring the safety of equipment and personnel.
Excellent sealing performance: The dynamic pressure head is sealed with welded metal corrugated pipes to ensure no leakage in vacuum/atmospheric environments; the pressure rise rate is <=2Pa/h (empty furnace in cold state), reducing gas pollution (oxidation/nitridation), lowering the frequency of vacuum pump replenishment, and extending equipment life.
Energy-saving and environmental protection advantages: Rapid raising and cooling temperature design, coupled with efficient insulation, can reduce electric energy/gas consumption by over 20%. The low leakage rate design minimizes the waste of protective gas, thereby lowering operating costs.
Selection guide
Confirm the process window before quotation.
For faster engineering review, prepare the core process boundaries before sending an inquiry.
Can the chamber be customized?
Yes. Chamber size, heating zone, fixture, pressure, and atmosphere configuration should be confirmed through technical review.
Is a process test recommended?
For new materials or demanding density targets, a sample process discussion helps reduce equipment selection risk.
What should be sent with an inquiry?
Material, target temperature, pressure or load, atmosphere, workpiece size, and expected capacity are the most useful inputs.
